Ephrata Senior High School Reviews
Rating 3.66 out of 5 222 reviews
I came here last year as a new student in my sophomore year. I felt very welcomed, especially by teachers and administrators. I have made great, lasting relationships with teachers that have been a blessing in my life. I have mostly loved my classes. I have been empowered in a variety of leadership activities. I would like to see there be more community between the students and greater levels of caring for one another.
The school itself does its best with what it's given(low budgeting). Parent involvement is slim to none. Many of the students cheat their way through class and have little motivation to strive to earn their grades. Bullying and drug use are rampant throughout the school. The food isn't awful, and there are many options for children who cannot afford lunch. What the school does do a good job at is implementing their counselors and encouraging their LRG program that in the long term is very helpful. Overall, it's just a regular high school honestly.
Overall, my experience at Ephrata has been very good. I feel that I am receiving an education above what other public schools in the area provide, and it is evident that the teachers and administrators care about their students' success!!
