The school is very clean and organized. It has the most recent technology available for schools, such as max books, Mac computers, google Chrome books, Projectors, etc. The food isn’t the best but it’s very clean. There are a lot of advanced classes and you can take classes at colleges or the neighboring college, University of New Haven. It’s very friendly and I enjoyed it!

It is an average school, There are some really great teachers but a good chunk make for lousy educators. There are teachers who don't even teach, but expect you to learn on your own, or just blatantly rip off another companies learning program to teach you instead, while they sit around and try to grade your stuff. With the new building, yes it is very nice, but the school does not utilize all of its potential, the weights room is empty, and not accessible to students. There is no weights class, no teacher to be there, its locked most of the time. The school has finally put to use the wood workshop which is really exciting, since all of the tools are working and seem up to date for the most part. Ok school, with Ok people, who make Ok decisions.
I greatly enjoyed my time at ESUMS. I was able to take rigorous classes in math and science. I've also been given a great deal of resources to be able to make professional level videos in my digital media classes. Although I am not that interested in the engineering portion of the school, I have seen how great this school is for the curious. We have a robotics club who makes a competitive robot every year and a whole workshop. Every year, we also participate in Skills21 ExpoFest, bringing back multiple winners each year. My only criticism is that the administration can be very unorganized.
