Emmett High School Reviews
Rating 3.21 out of 5 159 reviews
I would not trade it for the world it is great, I have learned so much and the teachers are characters. Worst experiences was probably getting in trouble freshmen year and failing math and earth science semester one, as well as college algebra, best experiences would probably be the days that are pretty chill like reading a book or having seminary. I would like to see more opportunities at Emmett high school as dual credit and such as well as a new high school building in general.
I really liked the community at Emmett High School. The people were very nice and a lot more inclusive than most other schools. I think that all of the teachers were very relatable as well. A lot of them have pretty good relationships with the students, but I would like to see more learning engagement. I also think that our school itself needs a lot of updates. My high school is old and a lot of the teachers are leaving because they are not getting paid well. It is making Emmett High Schools education level lower and lower.
What I love most about Emmett High School are the teachers. Yes, some are better than others; but overall, they are pretty great. I feel like the teachers here really care about their students; they support teenagers not only in academics, but also in sports, activities, and in their personal lives. I have heard teachers promising students to come and watch football games, drama performances, and more. I have also witnessed teachers comforting and advising students who were going through hard times both in school and at home. Our teachers are truly wonderful people.
Unfortunately, there are also some issues I have recognized in our school. The largest problem is that the lack of discipline allows bad students to slow down the progress of diligent, hard-working kids that are trying to do their best. Teachers are often persuaded to bend the rules or make exceptions for students who fail to do their part; this is so unfair to those who pay attention, do their work, and obey the rules.
