I would rate my overall experience with Elyria Catholic three stars out of the five. I like the community of the school, however, I do not believe that it gave me the education that my parents paid for. Elyria Catholic is not a cheap school and receiving a poor education and not being able to have specific resources to learn in certain subjects brought me to be behind in college. I feel that education and certain things definitely need to be changed at the school. The school also needs to address the bullying epidemic that is going on there. Many kids decide to miss school due to bullying or the rudeness that came from other students. I liked the catholic aspect of Elyria Catholic, but my education and some things need to be changed.

Elyria Catholic, overall, is a very good school. The teachers care about the students and guide them both in and out of the classroom. The school community is supportive and friendly in most cases. A culture of learning and academic growth is prominent within the student body. However, the economic divide between the students in the school can, at times, be visible within student culture and have a negative social effect, especially on the lower income students. Additionally, because of the school's smaller size, alumni resources when it comes to college and beyond can be rather limited. However, overall, Elyria Catholic overcomes these difficulties and is a positive environment for learning and personal growth. I would recommend Elyria Catholic highly to students considering a religious secondary school within the area.
The school is overall okay, but it really depends on who you spend time around. The staff mostly seems like they don't care about you individually as soon as you get into the school, and they spend all of their attention on hooking in new freshmen. The campus itself is in terrible condition, as none of the bathroom stalls lock, and one bathroom has a door missing. There aren't lights in the parking lots, and students are required to walk from one parking lot to the main one without lighting, which is a considerable distance and can be unsafe in the early mornings. This school needs a lot of improvement to be considered a good school
