Academics were GREAT my freshman year but since quarantine hit and everything shifted to computers I know that zombies who sat in front of their computers for 16 hours a day; are the ones who most likely will be graduating in 2023. The teachers care, some of the ones I had are naïve and are not structured to my learning style. Diversity, is phenomenal! There are clubs to help support the diversity in this school, but clubs themselves do not have so much events or funding but its clubs help a student find a sense of safety conformity and a healthy amount of pride in themselves. If you're going for college then the Advanced/ Ap Classes are great the normal curriculum classes SUCK giving work daily, i'm up til 1 - 2 in the morning and still fail. Class of 2024 and 2025 are disgusting in maturity and tolerance, BUT there are the ones that are great :) Administration, Its rough this year, they are talking blindly but they do care about you alot. Art Teacher & Band Director are AWESOME <3
I learned so much at this school. The academics here have always been impeccable, and our athletics aren't bad either. My favorite thing, though, has always been the atmosphere. People here are so genuine and so kind. The culture of this school is one of spirit and unity, and that is something I will always and forever look back on and appreciate. Obviously, my time here hasn't been perfect. I have had run ins with certain administrators who I feel do not do things in the best way, or who I feel are being unfair or unkind. That being said, my time at Elsinore has been positive overall. Elsinore was my support group when I felt I had nowhere else to go, and I will never forget that.
I like that Elsinore High school has a tradition of caring and respect. Ever since I stepped a foot on campus it felt like home, the way everyone greets each other and the way everyone respects each other for who they are is what I really love about EHS. We have several traditions that have been going on for years and I hope they continue. All the clubs are extremely fun and its a way for every student to get involved as well as the sports team. Each clubs are runned by students. All the teachers are kind and friendly to all students. Theres rarely any fights. A few things that can change are the bathrooms but thats a problem at every school. But overall, EHS is a good school.
