Elmwood High School Reviews
Rating 3.62 out of 5 69 reviews
I really like the environment at Elmwood High School, specifically with the staff; they are always positive, encouraging, and help us to their best abilities.
Elmwood High School states that they are a college prep school, however I feel that they need to increase the difficultly of classes in order to state this. They do not offer any Honors classes or AP classes which I believe is essential for a college prep school. However, I liked how involved all of the staff was in a student. Each teacher would make connections with students and knew everyone personally. There was great passion with sports and students always came to sporting events to cheer on the athletes.
When I transferred to Elmwood going into my sophomore year, everyone was very welcoming. I had somewhere to sit at lunch, people talked to me in class, and wanted to get to know me. Schools usually have the different groups, but Elmwood didn't. It's just a little country school where everyone knows everyone, and everybody gets along for the most part. And if somebody doesn't like another they don't really talk about them, they just mind their own business.
