EFS is THE greatest. The teachers and administration provide and incredible foundation that builds confidence, encourages friendships, and gives kids lifelong skills to be successful in anything they do. The school is engaged and make learning fun! The sports and extra curricular activities (like plays, art, instruments and clubs) challenge students to work together to overcome challenges they never thought possible. Science Fairs, Blue / Gray Competitions, nurturing teachers and exceptional peers who both support and challenge you, there is so much to experience and so much to get out of an EFS education. Hands down the best education in Western NY and well beyond. This school is not to be missed and worth every penny!
This is my daughter's third year at EFS and we could not be happier. What really impresses me is how well her teachers know her and the amount of communication that we get from the school. They really are focused on the "whole child" in their approach. The faculty really goes out of their way to tailor their program to meet every student's needs - not easy in a class of ten individuals! We definitely miss being able to be in the building as frequently due to Covid, but I feel totally comfortable having my child there and think the school has done a great job keeping our kids safe and communicating throughout the pandemic. The vibe at the school is so positive, warm, and welcoming and every teacher that we've worked with seems to genuinely love their job and the students. I wish I'd had the opportunity to go to EFS when I was growing up - I remember it being the school where all the smart kids went to school and their graduates were standouts in my freshman classes in high school.
This is the BEST school in WNY! EFS provides its students with an excellent academic experience while cultivating social emotional intelligence, leadership skills, and personal growth. The K-8 model provides its eighth graders with many leadership opportunities, and the Lower School prepares children for school readiness with a sound foundation allowing for the whole child to blossom and individual differences to shine.
