Elkmont High School has been a great experience for me. The only problem is funding for our school system is lacking. We are the oldest school in Limestone County and although many improvements have been made over the years, I believe we are still behind. Our teachers use the resources that they are funded for and do a great job getting us engaged. We have a great faculty at EHS and we are a close knit community. Our school is very safe and we don't have to worry about our overall well-being when we are in class. Overall my whole K-12 experience at Elkmont has been the best! I will be sad to leave upon graduation but I plan to come back to several events and support my siblings over the years.

The thing I love most about Elkmont High School is the students. We have rare cases of bullying, it seems as if everyone accepts everyone for who they are. It does not matter what race, religion, or ethnicity you are a part of, you are liked by most everyone, no matter what. If someone has aa issue with something, that person usually confronts the problem. This makes things run more smoothly by letting the issue be presented, instead of letting the anger build. During sporting events, everyone is very supportive of our teams. Whether we win or lose, everyone is there by the players’ sides no matter what.
I choose to transfer from Ardmore High School to Elkmont High school for my Junior and Senior year... Elkmont has welcomed myself and other students with open arms and has definitely made high school such a great experience!
