Elkins has a tremendous academic system! All teachers are happy to help the students who are willing to learn. Many teachers are also happy to advise students on how and where to go to better further their academic careers. I have grown up in Elkins my whole life, and it is as friendly and supportive of its students as it is an excellent school for educating students.
Elkins High School is a very small school, while it is small in size there are still a lot of students. At least it feels that way to me, many of us are heading in different paths and Elkins High School has plenty of career path readiness options. Whether it be agriculture or business, they offer both.
Some teachers are just amazing but sadly they go on to better-paying jobs elsewhere. So you almost never have a solid teacher for a class, save for a few. The schools willingness to pay for things in their education programs is almost a joke. They spend majority of it on athletics instead of for their students.
