The teachers and staff in the school was beyond helpful and a joy to be around everyday. They made sure each student got the help the need with school work or anything else they needed during the day/week. As far as education goes, this school prepared us for each and every homework assignment, quizzes, tests, ACT, SAT, midterms, and final exams. With their hard work and dedication towards students we had the best test scores in the state!
I love it!! The teachers go above and beyond to help if and when needed. When I moved there I was worried, about how the students and teachers would be, but I've never felt so at home with a school. And the office secretary is always there if I have a question or need to help guide me.
Elkin High School is a very small close-knit high school. EHS places a very high emphasis on academics and college readiness. You attend school with the same classmates all 12 years of your elementary, middle and high school years. You know everyone in your class and the classes tend to be very close and supportive of one another. I am interested in becoming a music major in college. EHS is blessed with the very BEST teachers in our music and art departments!!
