Elk Grove High School focuses on college readiness in many aspects. AP classes are offered as an opportunity to receive college credit. Dual credit classes were also offered, such as English 101 from Eastern Illinois University and the CNA program from Harper College. It helped give me a head start in college and helped in college readiness. Aspects that I wished changed about the school would be the sports programs, art programs, and embracing technology. Modernization of facilities throughout the school should continue and increased security aspects along with it.

I really like Elk Grove High School! Despite having some downsides in certain categories, overall EG is a great school. There is always help available if a student is struggling in any particular subject, and they show a great importance towards college planning for all students.
Elk Grove offers a vibrant community stemming from clubs, activities, and sports. Students are involved all year round. The resources they offer is phenomenal, from technology, elective courses such as Engineering, CAD courses, graphic design, Auto, and more! with state of the art technology sponsored by the business in the community. The most important resource they offer are faculty and staff. From the counselors, to the teachers/coaches, to the attendance personnel and securities. They create a safe space and a supportive environment, in favor of learning and growth.
