Elizabethtown has both positive and negative attributes.
Pros:
Elizabethtown’s theater and music departments are superb, even with the lack of funding when compared to other neighboring schools. Most all of the teachers are beyond satisfactory and qualified. There are many opportunities for finding a niche or club.

Cons:
It is a VERY conservative-filled school and lacks diversity. The bullying is very real, but that occurs in high schools around the country. Inclusive thinking isn’t as imposed on students as it should be. Racism, homophobia, and xenophobia are prevalent in student culture.

Most teachers are very nice! Staff and aids are amazing and cheerful! Food in the cafeteria could be better, but there is a lot of options. Academics are great. They're challenging and interesting at the same time. I'm not a part of any music program like band, chorus, or orchestra. I think that are music program is very good compared to other schools in the same area.
Elizabethtown Area High School honestly took me by surprise. I moved to E-town in 10th grade, so I was a new kid right smack dab in the middle of high school. This was a huge challenge that meant making friends with people who have already established their friends and getting acclimated to new teachers and classes. I will be honest, my first year at E-town was terrible. The kids weren't the most welcoming, but I enjoyed my classes. I decided to challenge myself with an honors class in 11th grade and that's where I found my friends. I found the people in E-town who cared about their grades and did extracurricular activities and that is when my eyes were opened to the great side of the school. E-town has great sports teams, clubs, and teachers that really care about their students. I have established relationships with friends and teachers that will last a life time. E-town is a great school.
