Eleanor Roosevelt has been the greatest school ever! My school has the greatest teachers ever! My school has the best academic programs ever! I feel so safe attending this school. I feel so accepted by the students and faculty. My school has over 50 clubs that anyone can participate. I remember when I was little I use to watch Degrassi and I thought high school would be the most dangerous place ever, but I was wrong. I love my school so much because I made lifelong friends with amazing people. If there was anything I would change about my school are the resources, I wish the county would supply us with new books in the English department. So if I can change anything, I would just ask for more supplies and resources. This school also made me love to learn again ! I use to hate school because middle school was horrible, but coming to Eleanor Roosevelt High School made me fall in love with learning again.

I love my school! There are so many different clubs that you are bound to be involved in at least one. There is a variety of academic programs as well, From Science and Technology, to the Business Academy, to AP Capstone; there is always something to push you academically. The teachers are very helpful, especially in helping with college and just listening when you need someone to give advice. We also have lots of school spirit around homecoming week.
What I liked about the school is that the supports its students, whether through afterschool tutoring or by allowing students to voice their concerns (i.e. stage a walkout). They have a great counseling department and have partnerships with community groups. They provide lots of information to seniors who are getting ready to graduate in terms of post-grad options and scholarship opportunities. The administration and teachers have been there for many years and there is not a lot of staff turnover. Even though there is police presence, there has never been an incident of school violence that has ever risen to the point where I feel my safety while attending school. The school has strict policies and adhere to them, such as dress code and attendance requirements.
