Elcho High School is located in a very small town in Northern Wisconsin and is not just a high school. Within its brick building is a K-12 school of about 300 students. The rural area makes the class sizes very small which allows a close peer bond and lots of additional assistance from teachers. It is easy to make friends, join a club, play a sport, and be involved because of the thigh knit community. The school is almost like a little family.
Although the bonds are strong, the opportunities are sadly not the same. Elcho is very far away from any urban areas, or even suburban areas, making jobs, especially in the style of an internship hard to find. The small school gets a small budget, so although the clubs are loving and enjoyable, there aren't many to join and the ones they do have have little funding for equipment or other things. The school lacks exposure; to the real world, to different religions, to different races, and to any sort of culture.

I loved the small class sizes and 1 on 1 time with the teacher. I would like to see more classes available to students and more AP classes offered.
The new addition to the school is very nice. Neighborhood is a bit rundown. Very convenient if you live around it.
