I absolutely love this school. My son has had amazing teachers each year at EGES. He's currently in 2nd grade and I have seen ridiculous amount of improvement not only academically but he is opening up socially too. His reading teachers have always gone above and beyond for him when he is struggling. I'm also fortunate that he's gotten the young and energetic teachers. He loves going to school. With my older daughter, (who went to a different school) she had several older/miserable/"old school" teachers. I'm glad he is having a different experience with school.
I highly recommend this school. It is a STEAM certified school. The Principal is hands-on and holds her teachers to a very high standard. Professional Development is offered and encouraged. The population is diverse and the teachers go above and beyond to make sure that all students' needs are met. They challenge students and give them accommodations when needed. The teachers are proactive if they see a student struggling. Good citizenship, character and kindness are rewarded. I could not be happier as a parent knowing my son is at this school.
I highly recommend this school. The principal clearly takes pride in her school and the staff she hires - very high standards! My child has gone here for 4 years and has always had a great experience. I hope there is no pressure on teachers as I do believe children are not measured by one test. I love the diversity in the staff too - this school is just great!
