We loved the many dedicated teachers, small class sizes, hometown feel. The facility itself has a beautiful auditorium. People in this small community stay in the area and dedicate themselves to farming. There are an abundance of services available for migrant worker families who are either permanently or seasonally living in the area. Many longtime residents are bilingual. The special education services are adequate and at times flexible for it's changing needs.

Sports, basketball in particular, is prioritized over everything else including art and education. in this town your last name gets you farther than hard work and education does
There are really leaky ceilings. The guidance counselors are never in their offices and rarely get student's college info such as transcripts into colleges in time. The school is too dependent on technology.
