The best thing about El Dorado is the remarkable and unique school spirit on campus! Everyone on staff and in the classrooms are incredibly kind, generous, and helpful to guide you on your path to college or the career field. Our student body is flooded with school spirit and overall support for one another and I would not change one thing about our school spirit! The various offered courses, including Honors, Advanced Placements, Arts, and more, create a diversity on campus that is distinctive for our school. Teachers, administrative staff, counselors, and coaches all contribute to create a supportive and encouraging environment. If I could change one thing about El Dorado, I would increase the number of clubs and the types of offered classes. While our current clubs and offered classes are already phenomenal, I believe that increasing the variety and diversity of clubs and classes could improve the student body and allow students to thrive in their respective fields of interest.

My experience here at El Dorado High School is unlike no other high school. The entirety of it is based on community. The school spirit here is unlike no other - who else walks in a hawk suit to school?! Or does daily lunch activities for the students to participate in. The teachers also play a role in our crazy Hawk Nest, they encourage us and push us to do our best. They even have trips students and teachers can go to heal - it happens every spring break, and they have gone to Paris, Ireland, and Italy and more! The teachers are individually involved to make sure a student succeeds. We have notable programs as well, like our Mock Trial team that won the county championships, or our boys soccer that won CIF and State championships! Here at El Dorado there is endless excitement to go around, and we, the hawks, only bleed BLACK AND GOLD.
El Dorado High School is a wonderful school with an incredible amount of school spirit. Every Friday we wear our school colors, black and gold, and we like to call ourselves gold-blooded because of our love for our school. Many of the teachers are willing to help students succeed and make learning enjoyable. There is something at El Dorado for everyone and I think we have a close-knit community. We have an amazing Law Academy, mock trial team, performing arts department, athletics, band, science olympiad, visual arts department, fun clubs, and DMAA (digital media arts academy) that we specialize in at our school. El Dorado is an exciting school and I strongly recommend attending!
