El Diamante was an overall great environment to spend my highschool years in. The staff (for the most part) was very friendly and willing to help. Campus culture could have been better as far as school spirit was concerned; however, the student section was always lively! If you're looking for a school with a strong agricultural department, look no further than El D. The AG teachers here are some of the most amazing, caring people will ever meet and have had a positive impact on my life.
I love my school because of the students, sports, and the extra curriculars. My school provides so much love and so many oppportunities for the students and has such a positive environment. Even outside of school hours, the activities, games, and services that goes on give the community such good atmosphere. Something I aboslutely love about El Diamante High School is that the staff does their best to make every student feel included and involved within the school community. Another thing I adore about my school is that they provide many various amounts of classes and opportunites for students. No matter what you are interested in pursuing in school, El Diamante has something in store for you to partake in.
I have had a pretty good experience at El Diamante, I have been presented with a variety of opportunities and classes to take. VUSD School District offers college career pathways that you can take throughout your four years of high school. I am a part of the STRONG Academy and this has allowed me to take classes that are geared towards the medical field. One thing I would like to see more of at my school is student involvement. I think the school could do more to encourage students to participate in clubs and activities if they would take advice from the students. I feel as though there are limited chances for students to get involved or students are not aware of these opportunities. I personally think the school would benefit from listening to students opinions on dress up day, school activities, clubs, dances, etc.
