El Capitan High School is one of the most newly built campuses in Merced County. It is a two story school with tons of classrooms. It has a building for science, math, English, Spanish, and various electives. The campus is also very diverse in culture, with several clubs and activities to take part in. Some of the clubs include Kiwin's, Leadership, and K-POP. There are a variety of sports to choose from such as basketball, cross country, soccer, tennis, and even water polo. The teachers and staff are all willing to help students in need at any time of the day. They are committed to helping students succeed and meet their goals and requirements before they graduate high school. All in all, El Capitan is a great school!

My school is a really amazing school. The students, the teachers, counselors, and sports, they are all awesome! The rallies are what brings us, students, together with feeling like a family. Teachers are really helpful whenever you need them and the counselors are great as well. They are really reliable especially about your concerns for scholarships and colleges. The sports are just truly amazing especially the Cheer team. They won 2x back to back National Champions!
My experiences with El Capitan High School in freshman year was terrifying, I was lost and confused about where my classes were. Then a Senior came up to me and talked to me about how odds are outside, and evens are inside the building, and I was so grateful to acknowledge this school is filled with kind people. With this act of kindness I myself a senior love to help the incoming freshmens find their classes, and even pointing out the classes they should be taking for there future pathways. I have learn to love and gain experiences from hardships of finding the right friend groups that can be supportive of my decisions, and to study for the hardest exams. My pathway in my school is Science, and I've learned how important the studies of microbiology and biotechnology is to the real world. The science teachers are amazing here and really do care about their students, and that encourages me to keep learning more.
