What I like about Eisenhower High School is the people in the campus, from teachers to students to staff are very friendly. I can see that the majority of the teachers are engaged in the learning of their students, that they try their best to make school assignments and other activities fun for students, for they can always be motivated and engaged in their learning. Students growth can be seen throughout the year, how they improve their grades and their academic skills each week. Everyone collaborates to work together to raise the percentages of the students who graduate at the end of their senior year, to be the best institution in the district and most importantly providing the best education to each boy and girl, guiding them to be successful once they graduate.
My experience at Eisenhower High School is very exciting because every school day is a day I'm looking forward to learn with my peers and compete to enhance our grades. Our culture is so diverse that it bonds us together stronger like two magnets stuck together; although the students rather work together than individually, our sports teams chemistry are through the roof! Even injured athletes like myself are still attracted to the team atmosphere because we are like one big family. When you hear SWOOP! SWOOP! in the hallway be careful because we coming at the task like soaring eagles. All in all, my experience as helped me grow as a student and a person. I'm thankful for the opportunity God has given me for attending this wonderful school and I recommend it to others to become a fellow eagle.
Eisenhower High School has been known in the Aldine community to be very prideful, many would say that they are "Ikeonic ". They have provided students with great opportunities such as IB classes, sport, clubs, and high academics. Eisenhower high school was one of the first schools in our district to be an all colored school which highlights its diversity from an early age.
