Edward M. Kennedy Academy for Health Careers is a good college preparatory school overall . The teachers are very well- around and takes the time and patience to help the students whatever they need inside and outside the school. The school is very diverse and the students are very helpful and respectful among its peers. Its like a little community in both campus. Unfortunately, EMK Academy doesn't have a variety of extracurricular activities and have little support for clubs and other organizations . EMK Academy mission is to have kids Dream. Grow. Excel which I've taken to heart and for my education throughout my 4 years in high school
EMK was much more a community than a high school. I enjoyed the environment and it was like we were a big family. The students supported each other through their rough times and the teachers were amazing! My experience at EMK was great but it would have been better if the school was united with the lower class and if there were more activities and sports involved.
