This school has a very welcoming atmosphere and are serious about academics. Their top priority is to get their students into a 4 year college when they graduate. Each student is tracked for college readiness. They have a few programs and clubs that students can take if they are interested. I am very fond with the ballet folklorico program because it is available to all students, and each student experiences it since it is mandatory to take. Esperanza College Prep is attended by mostly Latino students, and ballet folklorico helps them connect to their roots and learn something from their culture. The teachers are very passionate about their subjects and always lend a hand when students need it, and are willing to stay after school to help. Parents feel very connected to Esperanza college prep, and always recommend our school to others seeking to attend a good high school. We get more freshman each year looking forward to their highschool journey.

What I love about Esperanza college prepare the opportunities that they give students to have a high-level education and prepare them for college. This school has a great teacher that work diligently each day and help students one on one on any problems they might be having in the class or in school. The Advanced Placement classes are very promising and each student learns all the information they need. We have certain days in which we have ACT practices, to gives us the opportunity for high scores which means that students will have more college options. Parents are always aware of their children's education process and have the peace of mind knowing that their students are safe. This school always supports their community in a number of ways and try to unite every student in school as a big family, no one is left behind. Overall, this is a great school that helps students down the right path for college and there is nothing I would change about it.
As a student, Esperanza is a pretty good school. The opportunity they are able to give us is be prepared for the future are pretty good. The sense of school pride and school family is strong, as seen through staff and teachers. I think there are a couple of flaws that can be fixed once it develops more since it is a new school. They prepare students through practice tests of the ACT and community service so that they can be better prepare students for college. Clubs are almost completely dependent on what the students want. If a club doesn't exist but enough students want a club, then it will happen. In general, I think the environment is pretty safe for students. The school could do better in making sure it's safer, but it's generally safe.
