Hinman staff take the time to work with kids on a one-on-one basis. They encourage the kids to always do their best and line the halls with positive sayings and messages that teach drive. The PTA is over 50 parents strong and encourages participation in your child's education. They offer tutoring after school and mentoring for students who may need a little extra help. Every child receives hands on education in technology and life skills. They don't just teach to the test while skipping things that will actually help the kids in life.

As a parent and educator at this school, I am very impressed and amazed by all that this school has offered my children. The administration truly cares about these children and their well being. they have brought a few new programs to the school to help all children feel included and seeing the growth from those children is awesome. They also have some new educational programs that are also helping these children enjoy learning in a very "testing" curriciulum set by the state.
Hinman Elementary School has staff that go out of their way to help the students. They have mentoring, tutoring and even Positivity Parties for positive people.
