Band is awesome. It's kind of what kept me going through Covid online school. Mr. Bergevin is a renowned band teacher, and he's led our jazz band to go to Essentially Ellington, a highly competitive nation-wide contest in New York, 5 times in the last 20 years. Thanks Mr. B!
Food is awful, just like every other school out there... The IB program sucks because they make us do extra work for no good reason, and they're extremely strict. Decent class selection, lots of variety to choose from. Unfortunately, if you're in band and you want to do a language and keep up with math and science, you can't really do anything else, between all of the other requirements.
Campus is pretty big and it's a nice school, facilities are decent and we have all of our sports fields here on campus (except a swimming pool). Just got a new baseball diamond and some new tennis courts last year.

Overall, I'd say the school has a good atmosphere: the majority of staff are kind and respectful, as are most of the students. I've had a good experience with the counselors, and the IB coordinators (current and future) are excellent!
However, I've had a very mixed experience with the teachers. Especially in freshman and sophomore years, there are some teachers who I feel do not push their students enough, leaving them feeling bored, frustrated, and unprepared. However, most of the junior and senior teachers I know are talented and passionate (the IB teachers in particular).
I wish that the school would take greater efforts to make sure that all teachers are giving their students the best education and experience possible. Letting some teachers continue running classes as they do is frankly unfair to the students who truly want to learn. I think that an anonymous survey at the end of the year would be an excellent way to let students share their thoughts on how teachers are doing.

Overall, I think it's an okay school. Not amazing, but it has a diverse amount of resources and interesting events. The staff is really a mixed bag, some teachers are very helpful and kind but other teachers either just don't do their job or have weird rules. They also recently changed the English department's grading system which I think is pretty BS. I won't explain it but it's not really the best system of learning.
If you want to join IB at the school, don't. The new president for IB apparently makes leaving IB very difficult and forces you to stay even if you want to leave.
And to add something about the staff: most of the staff that are not teachers seem to not care that much about their students. I was stalked by a student once and thought I was at risk of SA, and the school hasn't updated me on the student for 3 months now. They've checked security cameras but haven't really done anything about it, so yeah...
