Edison Regional Gifted Center Reviews
Rating 3.39 out of 5 23 reviews
I may be a new kid but this school is pretty good so far; no real dress code because it's rooted in sexism, kind staff, and very little drama. I would give it 5 stars if it wasn't for the lack of diversity in classes. The school is predominantly white and upper-middle-class; often, as a lower middle class/student of colour, I often find myself reminding classmates of their privilege, and they don't take me too seriously. I find ERGC to provide a very nurturing environment, super kind and prepares you for HS though, highly recommend it.
Great school. They give out free food, and it's very good at that. The teachers are very friendly and caring. A little too easy from K-3 but then it starts getting challenging. I like that because it gives them a few years to take it easy until it becomes challenging. I would give this a very good rating if I were you.
Teachers do not engage diverse learners. Label them as lazy and leave them behind. More worried about test scores then educating children. Nothing more than a warehouse for smart kids.
