My experience was somewhat normal, I did however love my teachers. I had some of the best teachers that SUSD could offer. When I was going there, there were a lot of extra curricular classes which made my school life a lot more fun and exciting. I have recently gone back a few times and it looks like they have remodeled almost half of the campus! It looks spectacular, all new desks and chairs, new buildings, even new staff. Something I would change would be the lack of extra curricular classes today. My niece attends Edison high and there are almost no extra curricular classes she could choose from. Other than that I have nothing but good things to say. This school gets a bad reputation, but it has a lot of soul.

Edison High is very diverse. Some people mah think the "bad side" of Edison because of where we are located at. In my opinion, Edison isn't a bad school. We are a GREAT high school! We have great students, great staffs, and a great principal! He does his job in overally making Edison High as a great high school. Throughout my high school years, Edison has changed incredibly by becoming a new campus and having more opportunities. The best thing about Edison is that we have this goal for students, whoever doesn't want to learn or what so ever, stays in class and the people that does listen and have great grades, gets to leave class for an hour lunch! This program our school started is called RTI. RTI stands for Response to Intervention using Positive Behavior Intervention and Support!
Entering Edison High School, it was very nerve wracking for me as I was a very timid person. As the first day went by, I knew I would be just fine. The teachers were so welcoming, and students of all grades were generally all very nice. As years passed by, I’ve become grateful for being able to come to this school. The teachers and staff treat the students like family. They cared beyond our education. This school is made of people who will go the extra mile for you. Edison High School is filled with spirited people, who will make your 4 Years exciting and fun!
The only thing I was I dissatisfied by was the favoritism the CSMs gave. Whether if it was because you were a student athlete or the same race as them, favoritism showed. I felt that it was unfair. I think Edison should hire different csms, ones who are open minded, mature, and averagely educated.
Other than that, Edison High School is a great School for anyone.
