Edgewood high school is an amazing school if one wants to receive an amazing education. I’m an atheist and was dreading the required religion classes, but I now rather find them interesting as the religion classes offered focus on multiple religions and viewpoints of the world. I felt like I have close relationships with my teachers and could go to them for anything, academic or not. The kids, despite being a little preppy, are all very friendly and due to the medium size of the class you truly know everyone at Edgewood. Overall, the tight-knit community at Edgewood makes any student feel like they belong at Edgewood.

The academics are especially strong, people take courses that challenge them. Whether that be double math classes, or several AP courses. Yes, there are shenanigans occasionally , but that's what they are. Shenanigans. I find that there is growing diversity in Edgewood especially in the Asian population. The teachers at Edgewood make you the best student you can be. Teachers go above and beyond if needed. Scheduling meetings with teachers is super easy. Also, there is an additional area called the Learning Resource Center (LRC). It is additinal help for those wishing for additinal help in a separate portion of the library. Times are scheduled by when the student has off mods. There is an additinal price for the LRC. The safety of Edgewood is very good. Students look out for each other, and teachers look out for students. Edgewood is a closed campus, so entrance and exiting of the campus is monitored and restricted. It's really a great school of hard working people.
The teachers at Edgewood are great at working with students and preparing them for college. The classes at Edgewood are challenging and counsellors help students find classes that will push them to their full potential. The issues with Edgewood come with its lack of available clubs and sports, and subpar sports team that come along with a smaller student body.
