Rating 3.49 out of 5 179 reviews
The school is, overall, a pretty great school. It's not the most diverse in terms of ethnicity; however, genders and sexualities of all kinds are quite welcome. Some of my only problems have been the ability for teachers to understand and empathize with students overall, especially about mental health. While there is a club promoting the awareness of mental health, the school in general isn't very good at keeping it a major priority, which means many (and most, including myself) struggle a lot with things like depression depression and anxiety.
Overall I really enjoyed my experience at Edgewood High School. As I began to finish out my last couple years they began to grow more in their learning centers and specialized learning that I feel could have really benefited me and wish I could have experienced more, but I’m excited for new students to have these opportunities!
Overall, the teachers are fun to be around and would like the best for their students. However, there is a problem within the student body, specifically that certain problems go unsolved, like people acting out during classes.
