I've been attending Clark High School for 3 years now and this year is going to be my fourth year, where I'm going to be a senior! Overall there is really a humongous amount of students attending Clark, ranging from about 3,000. Many of the teachers there are fun, kind, helpful, and support towards helping students succeed. The administration also perform an outstanding effort in their jobs for the school, keeping us safe. Additionally, the offer magnet programs involving AMSAT, AOF, TEACH, and even Honors Academy. Besides that, we have AP classes from being a Pre-AP school. Last year, I like how we got a school garden. Furthermore, Clark has many clubs and sports to chose from that anyone could join if they wanted to. Lastly, some things I think Clark should change is how they have their room numbers made because its sort of confusing to get around the school especially the first day, and to put out healthier food items for lunch.

It is very diverse and has a lot of school spirit! However, favoritism is heavily prominent. The school allows you to be yourself, for the most part students are respectable. There are a lot of really good teachers at this school as well, however, there are some that play heavy favorites and you won’t pass their class unless you are one of their favorites. This is a great place to make friends though and definitely prepares you for college if you are in any of the magnet programs. Those could be: AMSAT, AOF, TEACH, or Honors Academy.
For the past 3 years of attending at Ed W. Clark High School, my interests and hobbies continue to grow. The sports and clubs have helped me with interacting with others! My most favorite thing about Clark students is the amount of devotion and school spirit everybody has towards football and basketball games. Although, I believe Clark High School needs to become a cleaner environment.
