Falcon Early College is an amazing place where people get to interact with teachers and other classmates leaving a good impression behind. Since Falcon is not a regular high school with thousands of students, teachers seem to make students their main focus. I mean, students trust their teachers with things they would not even trust their own parents. I feel like each student has developed an interesting relationship with each teacher because the school is so small in numbers that it is hard for a teacher to NOT learn every single name in the school, especially over the years. We all have amazing relationships with each other that help us grow academically because the more we know each other, the more we seek help either from teacher or from classmates.

Falcon Early College Highschool, now known as Odessa Collegiate Academy, has become more than just a school. Due to our small numbers, each student has a great sense of community, even with the teachers. Everything feels more personal and open. We have no extracurriculars, other than art, but our clubs are able to make up for that. Students are able to express themselves more freely and communicate easily, all while earning an associate's degree in high school. The biggest issues would only have to be that it's a starting school, so there will be complications and confusion, as it's still in the early stages. Overall, this school is great for the hardworking, college-ready student.
I was a "guinea-pig" at the school. That is what at least the administration called us. We were in the second class there. What is interesting now is that we have transferred our campus to Odessa College, rather than the University of Texas at the Permian Basin.

The school was pretty cool. We ran on a college-like schedule called the "block schedule." Between my dual-credit college classes, I was given study periods-which were quite long. I had time to do my work and focus on other stuff such as catching up on the latest and hottest TV series on Netflix.

Overall, the experience was enlightening. I made new friends that I still have today and I learned a lot about what college classes will look like once I graduate.
