There are many ups and downs with the high school experience, and I would say Eastwood had helped me through all those times. The teachers are very understanding, and the faculty are very open to chat anytime. I would say everyone should take advantage of the HCC classes and AP classes offered, since they can help with preparing you for college and help your college admission process. I loved doing cyber security in Eastwood and by doing so, I have a pretty good job in college now because of the experience at Eastwood. I love and appreciate the experience I had at Eastwood, it truly made me a better person academically and personally. The counselor is very understanding and the most wonderful person around, I truly am glad for the help she has done for me and the students around. Applying and going out of state is possible and encouraged, good luck to all students and do your very best.

I've loved my experience at Eastwood. There is a family-like environment created by the accepting and open-minded nature of the people that go here. The number of extracurricular activities has increased over the years, and if you don't find one that appeals to your interest, it is almost effortless to start your club or join a sport at Austin. The new facilities are elegant yet comfortable, and make the school feel like a small college campus. Our school is well known for its outstanding academics. There is a multitude of AP courses offered at no cost and many resources provided by administration to ensure your success in each class. The teachers are not only passionate about ensuring students understand the material, but aim towards getting to know each as an individual and helping them with anything they need. If you focus and excel on your schoolwork, many doors will open for you: from college programs like EMERGE and OneGoal to scholarships and summer activities.
Eastwood Academy is a great high school to attend. I highly recommend it to any upcoming or current high school student. The environment of my school is very calm and welcoming. It is very manageable to have time for both hanging out with your friends and getting good grades!
