I've loved my experience at Eastwood. There is a family-like environment created by the accepting and open-minded nature of the people that go here. The number of extracurricular activities has increased over the years, and if you don't find one that appeals to your interest, it is almost effortless to start your club or join a sport at Austin. The new facilities are elegant yet comfortable, and make the school feel like a small college campus. Our school is well known for its outstanding academics. There is a multitude of AP courses offered at no cost and many resources provided by administration to ensure your success in each class. The teachers are not only passionate about ensuring students understand the material, but aim towards getting to know each as an individual and helping them with anything they need. If you focus and excel on your schoolwork, many doors will open for you: from college programs like EMERGE and OneGoal to scholarships and summer activities.

Being in Eastwood has changed the way I learn. When I struggle in something, whether its academic or personal I have a lot of support. Excellence is expected from this school. The teachers make sure that their students understand the material so that they are able to pass. Culture is embraced. The students represent a lot of groups from being a minority to representing the LGBTQ+ community. Everyone is accepted.
Its a very good school the teachers are amazing and really care about your education and success. It provides this program called one goal that helps you apply for scholarships, colleges, and make your transition from high school to college. The school also provides many AP classes to all of its students and also provides HCC classes to seniors. The schools counselors and the principal are very nice and you can go talk to them for help or if you have a problem. I really would recommend this school because it has almost every tool necessary to help their students be ready to attend colleges. Also wen you take your HCC or AP classes in high school its free so take advantage of it because the same AP classes that you take in high school you have to pay for in college like AP US History, AP Macro, AP Economics, etc....
