The whole community is peaceful, and the teachers are very supportive of our learning. I want to be an engineer, and the school offers an introduction course for it; I am very happy for that. Although we have few sports the school spirit is a strong one. Our class officers and administrators keep us motivated and happy through festive weeks or days. They express their concerns for our wellbeing and offer the resources to seek help; they do so in a way that does not guilt or pressure the student. Administrators keep their doors open to students who need a break from stress. Similarly teachers are dependable, they make sure students in the class have atleast 5 minute breathers mid class. The school offers more homework than regular highschools do, but that has really allowed us to gain a better understanding of material. Additionally the school's structure is amazing; everywere you look there is beauty and space. This is not a fancy rich school, but they have accomplished a lot.
Eastwood Academy is a great high school for students that want to exercise their minds with constant simplified learning with the phenomenal teachers who at their student service at all time. Eastwood Academy becomes a dream school by adding more extracurricular activities to students such as sports and music. Eastwood Academy gives their students the ability to express themselves and express their creativity across the school. The various student hosted clubs are very welcoming to new members to interact with one another. With a small population of students, everyone has the chance to get to know one another and the school population truly becomes a family. The various courses becomes a big bonus when seeking for an educational challenge to face and overcome. Efficient teaching and learning is Eastwood Academy top priority and specialty for students. Eastwood Academy High School is an excellent school for students with a thirst for knowledge.
I am a junior here at Eastwood Academy High School. In my time here, I can wholeheartedly say that this school excels at many things, especially academics. My first-year teachers were very accommodating in my transition and understanding to the beginning of the rigorous workload that I would encounter more and more as the years progressed. In my sophomore year, I grew to understand the challenging environment that this school presents. I found myself challenging and becoming competitive with my peers around me. Since I am in my junior year now, I face the major obstacle of COVID-19 that haunts both students and teachers this year. Eastwood teachers have adopted virtual learning at a rapid speed and care about the education of their students. However, if I were to change one thing about this school, I would change the overall school spirit. Since this school is academically driven, the school needs a boost of liveliness outside of grades and GPAs.
