I enjoyed the friends that I have made and the teachers I have connected with. More importantly, Eastview offers a variety of clubs/activities for students to get involved with. One thing I would change however is the way how the school’s systems operate. For instance, we always have to scan in and out leaving a classroom. Also, teachers walk around the hallways and will make sure each student carries a pass otherwise they will face consequences. I dislike how limited our freedom is on campus.
I feel that no matter how popular you are or aren't, there is a place waiting for you at Eastview. Speaking from someone who wasn't quite popular, I found my spot. Eastview offers a wide range of classes from on-level courses, honors, AP, and CIS. I recommend taking challenging courses because I feel they have prepared me for college. I have also enjoyed being involved in Mock Trial because it's a fun activity that allows me to work on public speaking and critical thinking skills. I have appreciated the academic and social opportunities offered here.
Eastview highschool has given me, and countless of other individuals the basic tools to prepare for college. As well as a great faculty to help get students on the right track to do so. I have been given amazing opportunities that I may not have gotten from any other highschool. The academics are challenging, but not to the point where things can not be accomplished. Us students have access to teachers who are more than willing to spend time to help them understand the material. There are many resources and opportunities here at eastview. There are clubs here to please students of many different interests. This is certainly a college preparatory highschool. The faculty push students to strive for excellence in not only academic skills, but interpersonal skills as well.
