The teachers are great and really understanding. They all want the best for their students and will take the extra leap to make sure their students get to where they need to be. There are tons of clubs and organizations for every student to enjoy: from mathletes, chess teams, and robotics to even a self-care club! Eastview school is very welcoming to new students like freshmen or transfers. In conclusion, Eastview is a diverse place where the teachers really care about their students and everyone has a chance to do what they like.
I believe that Eastview is a very good school and has many opportunities for everyone. The reason as to why say a 3/5 is because of my personal experience, which is a lot more to blame personally than it is to blame Eastview. Eastview is also becoming a little strict in some areas (phones taken/phone caddy’s) and new attendance policies. However, they opportunisties, teachers, classes, spirt and much more make this school pretty great!
As a junior at Eastview High School, I’ve faced the challenge of navigating high school during the Covid-19 pandemic. I think that teachers and staff have done very well with helping me reach my potential. The only con to the school is that it’s so big that I feel like my voice is not heard. Whenever I need help it takes longer to reach me. Also with so many kids to teach, I feel like it’s harder for the teachers to go through the lesson. I love that they have many challenge class and many clubs that help for career planning, but with the more challenging class I feel like there should be teachers know how to teach that subject. I believe that if a teacher is good at teaching, the students will love that class more. Also busy work is never the answer to helping your students. It doesn’t help me learn at all and adds to the enormous work load that I already have. I’ve made many memories in this school and I hope to make more this year and one last year 2024.
