The first thing that I liked about Eastside High School was the teachers and other staff members. The staff were so helpful and genuinely cared about the success of their students. In addition, I loved the programs they offered because they are such a huge factor during your time in high school and after. The top two programs that they offered that helped me become the person I am today is the Biomedical Program and the AVID program. I most definitely enjoyed my experience at Eastside!

Eastside High is a great school. The motto here is "Make school for everyone". I am apart of ASB, so I help plan different events that all students will enjoy! I am also apart of a Hispanic Dance Club, as president. I love this school, it is very diverse and have many options for students in all types of scholastic levels. There are various clubs, so each and every student has a place where they fit in.
Teachers, College Readiness and Resources can use a change at this Eastside due to the reasons that I believe some teachers just hand out worksheets with explanations and no clue to what they teach on the daily. Guidance Counselors are impatient and don't help prepare seniors to apply for scholarships or colleges until senior year around November. Resources at school aren't very informative, students only receive information on when the next pep rally will be and information on ASB events, by considering to let juniors and seniors know when the deadlines for scholarships and applicants are due students would not be stressing so much. Eastside could make these changes juniors and seniors would be more prepared for universities and colleges.
