Eastside college preparatory is a small school in which allows you to communicate with your teachers very well. Eastside has many summer classes that prepare you for college. Eastside also helps students keep up with their grades in order to learn how to take responsibility of their own work. The teachers do give out lots of homework but it all is worth it in the end because at the end you will be well prepared for college and very responsible. Eastside also has a couple sports like basketball, volleyball, cross country/track, and soccer. They also have electives such as photography, art, yearbook, journalism, creative writing, music and much more! Overall Eastside has helped me reach my own potential that I never thought I would reach and it has also helped me be more responsible with managing time with homework and work.
The school did a very good job on preparing us for college academically, but I wish we received more preparation for real life situations. I wish we had received more freedom so that we got more of a college experience. School wise, I feel like I learned a lot and got a lot of experience from going there. The teachers are all really sweet and genuinely care about you. I do wish there was more diversity among the student body.
This is a great school if you want to be on the path to a 4 year university, I’m sure this is many student’s goals however, Eastside College Prep provides a clear lay out and plan for successful admission into college. My experience here for the past 3.5 years has been both challenging yet compelling simultaneously. I receive great support from teachers and have been able to develop connections with the teachers and staff so that I could take full advantage of the opportunity I was given here at Eastside.
