Depending on who you are, there is quite a bit of ambiguity as to how you feel when attending Eastridge High School. People are excluded from many student activities due to their social status. It is extremely hard to climb the social ladder, with the exception of those involved in athletics. The athletic facilities are exceptional, being updated regularly. Substantial time and effort is put into athletics on the part of the faculty, which is greatly appreciated by the teams that do receive aid. The allotment of resources is very disproportionate, as teams that do not bring in much money to the school receive far less than other teams.
The faculty pushes an advanced curriculum, which is good for college preparation. However, for some students, the coursework is too intensive, and they are not allowed to drop the courses, and many are forced into taking these courses. It is clear the school is doing this to boost their credibility and opportunities for Government grants.

At Eastridge, I like that there are many academic opportunities and choices that enhances my education. The school cares about our education, future, and well-being. They have given us Ipads and laptops to help further advance our education while in high school and better prepare us with technology that we will most likely be using throughout college. There is not much I would change at Eastridge other than minor things like food quality, senior privileges, etc. Overall it is an amazing school to attend and it is an experience that will stay with me forever.
Eastridge is an average school because it isn't very well rounded but they do have certain aspects that make it more exciting to go to school. Some of the teachers are very good teachers and make kids want to learn while others are only hear for their salary. To make it a good environment we need more freedom and to be treated like young adults, but instead we have so many rules that stop us from having fun.
