Has a very wide selection of sports, and a large variety of classes. Teachers are quite lively. Food could be better but prices are good. The school is mostly clean except for the bathrooms which are often lacking soap / toilet paper or have water on the floor. Especially the boys bathrooms! Yet the school itself is a privilege to attend, because of how festive it is. Its best to visit during Thanksgiving Week because that's when its the most exciting ! There's a huge annual bonfire and a Thanksgiving morning football game against our state rival, Philipsburg. Also there's a great selection of language classes ranging from Spanish to Japanese to French. Overall, its a good school to be in and a great place to spend the best 4 years of your life.
It is a very diverse school of over 3,000 kids. There are so many clubs that give the students the best opportunities to become super involved and give back to their community. I have had the blessing of being able to participate in many things at Easton such as varsity sports, marching band, student government, and societies and clubs. There is, however, always room for improvement. Some of the school is very rundown, and a good amount of the staff does not seem to really care about overall student health or even their education. That is why I rate Easton Area High School four stars.
I appreciated seeing so much racial diversity. It gives you a chance to broaden your horizons and learn from other people's experiences. It also allows for a rare variety of clubs you can visit and join. You never feel that you stand out or draw attention to yourself in a bad way. It almost feels homely.
The only thing I would want to change in that school is how teachers decide to handle misconduct. It is counterproductive. The way they approach the issue is only a temporary solution. In a couple of days, the misbehavior will just continue.
