Eastmoor is a great school academic wise for those who actually are trying, who work hard , who take pride in the own work, and who challenge themselves with their classes. But for those who are opposite tend to distract other and there’s plenty of distraction at eastmoor. I love how close the people are to each other , yes every school has there ups and downs and bullying but you rarely see it at eastmoor. I love how our sports are very competitive and also encouraging with each other no matter what the situation is. Other than that some thing I don’t like our the resources we have as a whole and the condition of our building is terrible, we need a new school.
My experience at Eastmoor academy was pretty good. The majority of the teachers there genuinely want to see you succeed and work with you to make sure that you do. I like that there are a variety of opportunities for me to become a holistic student through academics, organizations, and extracurricular activities. There are some things that I wish could change though. The first is that I wish that the classes and course work were more about actually helping us learn the material, and less about preparing us to pass tests The second is for the leadership to be a bit more focused on helping us grow as students and mentoring us and less focused on condemning us and trying to make the school look good. The leadership sometimes doesn't see genuine or caring at all, and when those teaching and leading you don't seem to actually care about you or your education, it makes it makes it a lot harder for you to care. Lastly, I would like to see some updates or renovations.
