Eastmoor Academy Reviews
Rating 3.75 out of 5 158 reviews
My time at Eastmoor was decent, although I wasn't able to have the full high school experience due to covid-19. Since the outbreak things have changed a lot, there's not as many opportunities for activities or typical school events. I would say that safety is one thing that needs to improve, along with improving ways to get in contact with counselors and general staff members. Organization and preparation is also an issue. Many things always occur last minute and is inconvenient for students, especially those who are at career center or a college campus.
Eastmoor Academy is a great school for sports and art. The classes and how prepared they make you from college is lacking, however, they provide programs like Senior to Sophomore that allow you to take college courses at an actual university for college credit during your senior year. This was definitely the highlight of my experience because I feel very prepared for college. The school is known for its sports and musical performances, so if that is something your interested in, confidently pursue it. Other than those two things, our available activities are lacking.
Eastmoor Academy has a very good learning environment and many extra credit opportunities. The staff provide very good support and more. Students are very generous and are willing to help you as well. In conclusion, Eastmoor Academy is a school that I would recommend for somebody.
