I absolutely loved attending at EHS. EHS has an atmosphere unlike any other school you will find. The teachers and students value and practice a tight family environment where everyone can feel safe to fail as well as to be successful! The school has a wonderful leadership program that works tirelessly to bring the students together through epic spirit weeks, assemblies, and an incoming student program. The academics are competitive and offer a plethora of different, interesting, and challenging classes. There are multiple opportunities to take AP classes for college credit as well as multiple fun electives. The sports program also has incredible coaches and high values. I ran XC and Track and felt immediately that I had found a family away from home. The athletes worked incredibly hard and I always knew that the coaches cared about my progress as well as my physical and mental wellbeing. Overall, Eastlake was a blast to attend.

Eastlake provides many opportunities to students. For academics, there are plenty of AP classes that you can take (Calc AB, Calc BC, Stats, World History, US History, Chemistry, Bio, Physics 1, Physics 2, Comp Sci A, Comp Sci Principles, Environmental Science, Micro Econ, Macro Econ, and plenty more). For clubs, there are also plenty of clubs (National Honor Society, Science National Honor Society, DECA, HOSA, and plenty more). The school also has plenty of sports (Football, Cross Country, Track and Field, etc.). In addition to sports, you can get involved in music through Band or Orchestra. Many colleges visit the school, so the college readiness program is also very strong. In general, if you are willing to get involved, there are plenty of opportunities in this school.
I graduated in 2019, pretty cool school. Yeah there are stoners and drinkers like every school but that doesn’t take away from the actual school part. The teachers were awesome, especially Mr. Stratton. The atmosphere is great too, the football games are chaotic. If you have a good friend group, weekends are always something you look forward to and usually fun. Parties most weekends. The only weird part about Eastvape was how much distance there is in social life between popular kids and non-popular kids, there are no interactions with them and they stay distant. Overall I had a great 4 years and the teachers are clueless when you come to school high and it’s hilarious.
