I do like the majors and that they have different opportunities there. Like a lot of other high school's, your dependent on yourself on what you want to pursue in. The teachers are always open for questions and will help you in any way you just have to ask. The fine arts in that school is a big deal the only problem ,to me, in that school is that they don't showcase it much. Out of the whole year only one pep rally is in the school. There are students in the school that give all they can so why can't they show it off more? Another thing is it does take long for the counselors to do your schedule but isn't that every other school too? Despite these little problems, the diversity in the school is what makes the school. I have seen different races in the school that makes me think that El Paso, Texas is not mostly Latino! Any who, this school has nice opportunities for a educational path to your future life.

The teachers were great! They pushed me to be the student I am today, and have taught me many things educational and non. I met many amazing people who all became extremely close friends. They made my 4 years fly by. However the school did not have much school spirit and that is coming from a 4 year cheerleader. One would expect to have people yelling and jumping off of their seat while at a pep rally or football game for example, however this was not the case. Students sat there unamused, and made all the fun activities a drag.
My experience at Eastlake High School was a good one that made many different memories for myself and where I grew as an individual. The reason why I rate it as a 4 star, is due to the fact of school spirit! In my freshmen and sophomore years the upperclassmen always were involved in spirit week. On the other hand, seniors and juniors now aren't that involved because they think it's too silly or "dumb". Other than that fact, the faculty and administration are composed of many individuals who want to see students succeed and do great things in life. They also are always telling students they are here for us and if we need to talk someone to stop by their room and have a personal conversation that will not be spread amongst other students. In addition, teachers are always staying many hours after school to tutor individuals who need help in a particular subject. This also shows the dedication they have with students and wanting them to achieve.
