Eastern Wayne Elementary School Reviews

We love Eastern Wayne. The teachers and staff go above and beyond to help the students succeed. The school has a parent resource center with free learning materials and resources for parents to help their children succeed. The child nutrition staff does an excellent job providing breakfast and lunch to all students at no cost. My son speaks highly of the elective classes such as art, music and physical education.
Some of the teachers are great and does above and beyond! But some can do better than they are doing right now. Some just sits on their laptop and watches youtube videos instead of teaching us/grading papers. Others gives students notes to copy, go through some problems and goes back to their desks and do their work saying that they don't want to take any of their work home making it hard for students to approach them.
My experience at this school is okay, but if i had the choice to switch school (ex. wayne early middle high school but only to this school) I would. I regret this very much because basically I'm wasting my time going to a school that I don't even like and does not fully let you do what you are capable of like go to the community colleges to take college credits while youre a sophomore. This is one of the things that I dislike the most. They will also not let you take any language courses while you are a freshmen saying that it would be too much for us. So you would have to get teacher recognition in order for you to take these classes.
