Our school really doesn't have much color, and sometimes the heat/AC acts up and it'll be extremely hot in the summer months or as cold as it is outside in the winter months. Other than this, the school is pretty outstanding. The janitors are very friendly and keep everything very, very clean. As a senior, I've heard some complaints about a few of the guidance counselors, but mine personally was the best counselor I've ever had. She made the entire college-selection process so easy for me and we really developed a good relationship with one another. She does this with every one of her students. All of the administrators and teachers are super friendly and handle any situation really well. The busing system is really fantastic. The only bad part is there's not much time to get to your bus after the bell rings to leave.
Freshman year is a joke. It offers no challenge at all to all normal students. However, once you get into AP classes, academics become more challenging. The only problem is that since there are only 5 blocks within a day, having room for AP classes and still meeting core requirements can be challeging. The guidance recently has been forcing most freshman and sophomores to take the same classes, leaving little room for challenging classes.
Just your average highschool. Money is mostly put into Apple computer program so not much is put into making the school looks nice or adding additional features. However, it is always clean. The usefulness of guidance depends on which councelor you have. Some are excellent, some don't even know your name even though they've been your councelor for the entire year and you have visited them for help several times throughout.
