With a heart of a senior I can truly say Eastern High is an incredible school. The teachers and faculty are relentless at making sure students are where they are suppose to be and on time to class. One special factor that is noticeable about Eastern is its diversity. I have never attended a school with such a wide gamut of cultures, religion, and languages. But that's Eastern's diversity, the students are on
another dimension of astoundingness. I love their passion for learning and even more their willingness to helping others (especially students that are bilingual and are still in the progress of learning and comprehending English). Chiefly and above all, the most tender quality of Eastern High School to me, is its unique environment altogether. From its teachers to students; its faculty to administrators, its library and cafeteria. Eastern is a welcoming community I'm not sure I'll ever forget.

My experience here was one of diversity and variety. There's so many different people and cultures in this school, people from all over. there's tons of clubs and sports, and they have the option of honors courses and IB classes, which I partook in. There's tons of programs and college advice available. I met a lot of amazing people and had amazing experiences, such as my class trip to DC this past November. Given the financial struggle that comes with being an urban school, I was able to experience so much more than I thought I could. Much of this made possible by the loyal alumni and their donations to the school.
If I could do high school all over agin, I would choose Eastern High School every time. Our diversity really makes us unique and it brings a real world experience into our every day life. We are always trying to make a positive difference in our school, whether it's in our lunches, classrooms, sports teams, or behavior in the hallways. We don't let negative press bring us down either. We take the negative things people say and think about us and we prove them wrong. In my four years of attending Eastern, I have seen a huge difference in standardize testing between my freeman year and my senior year now. We continue to raise our overall scores and take practice tests to prepare us. I am proud to say I attend Eastern High School and I will continue to support and represent my school when I'm an alumni.
