I’ve attended Eastbrook Academy since the beginning of my academic career in K4. What makes Eastbrook stand out is it’s truly Christ-centered agenda that enconpasses it’s academics. The Academy has not only helped me to grow as a person in academics, but has also nutured a love for Christ that I could not have found anywhere else. It’s student body diversity aids in expressing God’s love towards all people and how we should love one another despite our differences. Now as a rising Senior, looking back at my 14 years of attending Eastbrook Academy, I could not be more grateful for it’s impact on my life.

I love the family like atmosphere coming from homeschooling I feel like it was easier to get accustomed to. Small class sizes make learning and asking questions easier. I feel accepted by my classmates and my teachers are great. It is very diverse, which was perfect for my diverse upbringing. One thing that I did notice, however is that students who have been going to Eastbrook, since a young age, have lost some of their...school spirit? But that is understandable if you have been going to school with the same people for 8+ years. Overall Eastbrook is a wonderful school. The learning is definitely rigorous, but if you apply yourself you can succeed. In each class there are things that can be improved, but the good heavily outweighs the bad. The staff and authority are calm and rational. Behavioral standard of honor and respect are high, but achievable. God is emphasized in everything we do and we are encouraged daily to grow closer and become more like him.
I am a new parent at Eastbrook, and I find the curriculum to be appropriate for learners who have an appetite for rigorous learning. I also appreciate the diversity of students, but hope that some day it will be reflected in the teaching staff as my child moves up in grade level. It is my hope that Eastbrook continues on its mission of providing a God-centered education to the children while maintaining its very high standards.
