East Valley is overall a pretty good school, just like any Highschool there are downfalls and peaks. But, there is a good community and amazing activities. There are students from all backgrounds who are committed and determined to go to school. There are clubs for everyone! The academics could be better, offering more, harder classes and making those opportunities known. The math curriculum is not very student friendly. The students understand that the curriculum is supposed to help, but that are forced to work in groups for their grade. The culture of East Valley is very warm. There are lots of opportunities to create a small, close knit community with others.

I currently go to East Valley High School and I would say it's been good, not the best, but not bad. The staff and teachers are very kind and dependable, there are many resources for students to succeed. Something I would change is more classes and electives offered and better curriculums of some subjects, such as math. I also want there to be more of a focus on academics than just sports, also more school spirit and diversity, there's a big lack of those things.
This school has a variety of students with a variety of different courses to take, the courses are (mostly) fun and challenging for those who wish to learn from them. The staff and teachers are great and are often understanding of a certain students problems or issues with their learning environment. East Valley High School has an assistive pregnancy system which helps pregnant students to succeed even after most schools would consider them lost causes.
