I attended East Valley Academy from 2008-2012, 9th-12th grade. At first it was a health science high school, but after my 10th grade year the city stopped funding for the school and it was then merged with Crossroads and another credit recovery school. Our once 'sophisticated' and 'you had to be accepted into' school was then turned into the school that the bad kids went to. Which made it easy for me to graduate top 3 of my senior class. I'm not mad. But the curriculum could've been better. I feel like if I would've went to Westwood, the classes would've been harder

East valley academy is an amazing school for students who fell behind in credits and need to catch up. The classes are smaller and we are small campus. I honestly love this school and would recommend it for anyone behind on credits and/or want to get ahead
Food at East Valley Academy is not always so good. If you like salads they have good salads and okay sub sandwhiches. I understand food must meet a criteria, but sometimes just three pieces of boneless chicken is not enough to full a high school student's stomach. They do serve broccolli or healthy snacks such as carrots and celery on the side as well. They also have fruits including oranges, grapes, and apples ready for us to enjoy. Overall the food is bearable.
