Overall it's average. There's a wide variety of AP courses available to take as well as certification training classes for SERF SAFE, CPR, Microsoft and PowerPoint. The Guidance Councelors are not very helpful as they do not listen to your needs when it comes to scheduling and the campus attempts to seem more progressive in practice and personalized learning implementation than it is, but I think most other schools don't even try as hard so the effort has to count for something. The arts programs are the diamonds of the campus, making this a magnet school as The Choir, Theatere and Dance Programs are stellar with amazingly passionate directors and tons of competitive and adventurous. opportunities. Overall, I would recommend if the arts are something you want to explore in college or professionally, or if you just love them and want something to get you through high school!
The Student Life at the School is great! The Student Body always likes to create different events for the students to take part in. Academics wise, if your ever unsure about classes to take and credits you need to complete you can always get a meeting with your counselor to sit down and talk about it. The admin/faculty are very helpful. I personally have had a good experience with ERHS. Im currently a 10th grade student.
The school itself is not terrible. Has a good foundation and the students are ok. The teachers are decent too but that is if we are talking about the actually qualified ones. The other teachers think that it is ok to tell students that they are wrong with their religious views, political views, etc., even when they know the subject should not be talked about regardless. There are also some teachers that think it's ok to talk to girls in an inappropriate way. When you bring it up to admin they essentially roll their eyes and tell you "it will be taken care of" when won't. That goes the same with interactions with other students. The school is so worried about the money they have, they are willing to sacrifice the students for it. The school says they try to be fair to everyone and punish the ones that should be however, the reality is that they punish everyone and roll their eyes in the process. Our bathrooms and classrooms are also covered in a solid layer of filth.
