East Limestone High School Reviews
Rating 3.5 out of 5 150 reviews
East Limestone High School is an excellent school that provides students with a top-notch education and a supportive community. The school is known for its dedicated teachers, challenging curriculum, and outstanding extracurricular programs. Students have access to a wide range of academic and athletic opportunities, including advanced placement courses, honors programs, and championship sports teams. The school also offers a variety of clubs and organizations, such as the National Honor Society and the robotics team, that allow students to pursue their interests and develop their skills outside of the classroom. With a focus on academic excellence, personal growth, and community involvement, East Limestone High School is an exceptional place to learn and grow.
Some of the best parts of my experience are the friends I've made here, they are a group I can trust. They push me to try my best in everything I do. The sports are enjoyable for the most part. We have had good seasons for soccer the past few years that I've played. The basketball teams do good too. The few things I would really change is the food, no one likes it. I feel like we don't get the nutrients we need. I would also like there to be more diversity at this school.
My high school experience was wonderful. I was very involved in the athletics department by playing two sports, soccer and volleyball, all the way through high school. I believe the school could improve by investing heavily in the students from low-income families and pushing them to take harder classes. I've only seen well-to-do students in honors classes. There is a very strong sense of community among the students at East Limestone. I always felt like I could start a conversation with anyone in the room. Dr. Wise saved our administration when she took over as the assistant principal of the high school, and Mrs. Jacques is easily the best teacher. She invests fully in her students and holds them to high standards. She is a very sweet woman who contributes immensely to the environment of East as a whole. In my experience, the East Limestone staff is always willing to help students to the best of their abilities.
