East Lansing High School is a lovely school. The ambiance is beautiful, and there is a lot of diversity, which makes the students feel comfortable. The sports are fantastic here, and we have a lot of amazing athletes that go off to D1, D2 schools! We have plenty of security guards that make sure the students are safe, and they even give out free snacks! I believe East Lansing High School is the best high school to go to in the state of Michigan.

I believe ELHS is a great school with lots of resources and opportunities. Student culture and involvement is incredible (music programs, sports event, pep rallies, clubs, etc). At East Lansing, I’ve gotten to explore a wide range of different classes, ranging from semester long art classes to AP classes. I love the building, while it is almost always clean, safe, and a great environment for students to learn. I’ve joined so many new clubs, found new interests in different topics. The student body is very diverse and I get to meet new people with different backgrounds every single day. East Lansing is the place to be! Go Trojans!
My experience at East Lansing High School was a positive one. All four years were filled with friends, sports, dances, and academics. My experience was filled with highs and lows, as well as enjoyments and regrets. My biggest high and enjoyment was participating on the soccer team all four years. I was able to continue the sport I love and have played since I was 6 years old. I also made a lot of friends along the way. These are friendships I hope to have for a long time.

The biggest regret I have while in high school was not applying myself academically. I didn’t understand the importance of studying hard and getting good grades until I started applying to colleges. My grade point has not only effected my getting into certain colleges, but has limited my opportunity to receive academic scholarships to help my family out financially. I am hoping to continue to play soccer in college and I will study Kinesiology/Exercise Science.
