East High School is an excellent school located in a good area. The teachers are all very qualified and helpful. They are available at various times throughout the day to help when needed. Aside from great academic program the extracurricular activities are very good as well. There are so many programs to choose from including sports, academic clubs, and others. Personally I was involved in Interact, Model UN, DECA, and track and I loved them all. There is really a spot for everyone and the people are very accepting and friendly. I'd recommend East High School to anyone looking for a solid school district.
As a student of East High School, I found that our school promotes an excellent learning environment that is very accepting of students from all backgrounds. All of the teachers are very welcoming and excited about sharing new knowledge to their students. But, some changes could be made in regard to the college preparation of the courses that were required. Many of the classes were very structured and by allowing some things such as now work over the breaks did not really show what things would be like in college and in the future. Workload in the real world does not ever stop and so it would be a good idea to assign homework that does not take so much time, but is relevant to the topics learned in class.
