I liked how my high school had a lot of team spirit. From men's basketball to women's volleyball, you could count on a crowd of students to be there. I appreciate the low-key monitoring of school lunches, dances, and activities where students can be sort of crazy! And lastly, I am grateful to East High School for the opportunities and endless encouragement to do my absolute best.

It was a nice school. The building is sturdy and protective in potentially dangerous weather. The faculty work every year to improve upon the building and the environment the school can offer to students. Teachers care about their students and interact with them if they look like they need support. The counselors help students who feel that they need someone to talk to about emotional, personal, or academic problems. Faculty is always around to help answer questions and are open to questions. Some of the teachers interact with students in a way that makes topics more interesting to learn about.
I just moved to East High this year as a senior. I absolutely love it. The school offers so many classes that my other school did not. I was absolutely overwhelmed by my choices. I love my classes. Every day I learn about something that actually interests me. I like going to school and- this has never happened before- I am going to be upset when the school year ends. The teachers are friendly, smart, and fun. The people there are easy to get along with and including. There are more after school activities than I have time for; I feel like I have barley scratched the surface! My councilor has been more helpful to me in my college preparation than any adult has ever been. I feel like the staff truly wants to help me succeed. Its a great school. I am so grateful I had the opportunity to go to East High.
